Art for Aid
Art lovers are invited to a one-off charity event in Teddington where they will find paintings and sculptural pieces - and raise money for a good cause.
Artists have generously donated their artwork that will be sold, with a range of prices, at an exhibition in the garden studio.
It will be held on
11 December 2021 from 10 am to 4 pm
Mince pies and mulled wine will be served throughout the day.
All proceeds go to RETAS ( Refugee Education Training Advice Service ) Leeds, a charity that supports refugees. It is a smaller charity so our fund raising will have a direct impact on the people we want to help. I was moved to support Syrian refugees after visiting Jordan and seeing the work done to help the million or so refugees there,
The money raised will be used to help retrain adults, particularly women, who have been identified by Roger Nyantou of RETAS, as isolated and in need of support.
