Charlotte Andrew is an artist, teacher and facilitator. She has a doctoral degree in dialogic art and she prioritises creative and collaborative interactions within the workshops she facilitates. Her practice is concerned with intercultural exchange, responsive action and discussion.

The implementation of conventional methods such as drawing and sustainable pigment preparation is used to respond to historic and prehistoric aspects of making such as cave paintings and the drawings of past cultures.

These focus points lend themselves to both the two-day workshops that Andrew offers in London as well as the week-long residency she runs in Italy’s Sabine Hills. Local protocol, tradition and the interchangeability of teaching and learning roles are crucial to the success of the residency and make for a rich and reciprocal experience.
